Pain

I hurt. This is the type of pain you cannot ignore really. Deep, down bone and joint pain, shooting pain into my feet and hands, courtesy of Taxol , brings me into a ball on the couch tonight.
I got up to write this , but now I am going to bed.

My funny today was the girls dressing up the dogs. Jack had on a princess crown and a pink cape. Christi had on more because she is a girl and she is very patient. I should have taken a picture but I was hurting too much to think well. It sure was funny....

Today was a catching up day..not much school was done on Friday, so today was sit and correct, go over lessons, etc etc. I don't mind. It was good to be home. I got my Neulasta shot today and that is also why I hurt because it makes the bones crank out more white blood cells..and they hurt to the touch when they do..

So please pray for me tonight...pray I will think on good things, lovely things, beautiful things, funny things and things that build me up. Pray this pain will not keep me up all night and that I will be joyful despite the pain..

I am grateful for rainy nights, for children who help cover me up, for a husband who is willing so sleep on the couch so I can wriggle over the whole bed, for a son who picked out his class ring today with me in town, for a daughter who prays for me without being asked...there are so many things to be grateful for...

He is faithful,
Bonnie

I'm so sorry you hurt! We will indeed pray for you. I just got back from tutoring at Military Ave Church in Detroit. The little girl I tutor is doing much better this year! It is a pleasure when she cooperates! It is quite a program, about 80 kids and 50 tutors, every Monday. We do have fun ;^) Love you!! See you Friday, Mom

In my prayers I am asking that the scent of vanilla (the real stuff, no imitation with God) fills your home with soothing warmth, that you know the lilting clouds you lay on (I know they're hard to come by when you are in pain) are none other than the hands of your loving Father - they are a strong fortress and yet softer and gentler than words can describe, that our collective prayers would cause a policy shift in the government of your body so that Tax-all becomes No-tax-at-all, and that our thoughts we send your way would be the most beautiful chorus of songbirds as you wake to a brand new day.
