Narfy

This is a word we learned from Adventures in Odyssey. It means that you don't feel very well but you're not so sick you are horizontal..but you want to be..
The picture of me is at the Infusion Center. There were several people there today and I had a fun, smiling nurse who took great care of me. Time went by fast. I listened to my praise music, wrote a card, journaled and picked on Tim next to me. He had his laptop and every so often I would just reach over and hit a key, any key, to see if he still knew I was there. We exchanged hats too, so at one point I was advertising Ottumwa Flying Company and he had on my hat. It made the guy across from us smile--which was the only time I saw him turn his frown upside down.

I journaled this:"He is a shield to all those who take refuge in Him." Psalm 18:30
Be my shield Lord; shield me from fear, from distress, from anxiety, from discouragement, from apathy and from unbelief.
Psalm 18:31 "For who is God but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God, The God who girds me with strength, and makes my way blameless?"
Gird me with strength Lord. Cover me from head to toe with what You wish for me right at this moment. I know You'll pick out the best raiment for me.

If you read this, please, please pray I will not get sick like I did last time. I am feeling rather nauseated right now, but that is because I ate chili for dinner instead of toast. It actually tasted good going down but now, it isn't happy in there. You would think I would learn from the last few times..on day one of chemo, eat light.

Oh, the CAT scan said I had "unremarkable adrenal glands" and a bunch of other medical mumbo jumbo that said I had no signs of blood clots or any pneumonia.
I didn't think so but I am thankful for a Dr who checked it out anyhow.

Remember, we serve a remarkable God!
Have a rest filled weekend and watch at least one sunset!

Blessings,
Bonnie

P.S. The girls and I were on a field trip this morning with our homeschool group. The picture is at the Little Traverse Bay Museum in Petoskey.
