Green Belt

I forgot to tell you last entry that the girls and I were given our green belts last Friday!!!
This is the first of the intermediate belts, each of which we need to stay in for 5 months. There are two greens, then two reds and then the first black!
Lord willing, we will be testing for our first black belt in a little less than 2 years.
It is a lot of fun and I am more flexible and I am learning something new.

To God be the Glory,
Bonnie
P.S. Nathan tested last week for his green belt, so we will find out this Friday if he passed as well.
Don't want to forget the boy....

Hi Bonnie, Just got home from the Indiana CFO Fall Retreat. Everyone there prayed for you. They were amazed that you are bow hunting!! You are blessed indeed to have such a wise friend. I don't know if I would have been able to give you that wisdom. She is right, of course. We all need to let go of the past and concentrate on now. Matthew 6:34 says don't worry about tomorrow, either! Our morning meditations was on Phil. 4:8 - - I know you do this, a good reminder! Congratulations to all on the Green Belts!! that would take more energy than I have! Love, Prayers and Blessings to all, Mpm

CONGRATS!!
The children and I started a Homeschool Karate DVD program a couple of weeks ago and have learned so far: How to handle a bully, and the basic stances. The Karate class offered here only allows certain ages and I wanted us to do it together, so we're having fun with the DVDs!! Isn't it wild how we're choosing some of the same things and we're so far away?

Prayers for a good week for you and your family,

Love,
Kristine :)
